I am a very healthy and active 62-year-old with a gimpy left knee throughout my life due to sports injuries at a young age and the typical knee “wear and tear” through the aging process. I first met Brian Petrone and Dr Thomas Gill after my arthroscopic knee surgery to repair my meniscus nine years ago. It was a huge success and provided me with nine years of great mobility and minimal discomfort through normal sports activities and daily life. I reinjured the same left knee playing golf in the summer of 2024 and an MRI now showed little to no meniscus, bone on bone and arthritis. I received the Stem Cell injection into my left knee with minimal pain on January 29, 2025 with expectations of improvement 30, 60 and 90 days out, typical timing for cartilage regeneration and regrowth. I was thrilled to feel better within the first 30 days and continue to improve weekly with daily exercise including; light weights, biking, walking and stretching. I have also played golf and went swimming a number of times on a recent vacation with little to no pain, only to be cautious to any lateral movement activities like tennis and pickleball.
